Specifications may be examined at the office of the Highway Engineer, 504 Fairgrounds Road, Marshall, MN. Plans and Specifications may be downloaded from the Lyon County website, www.lyonco.org, (see further details on website) or by calling the Lyon County Highway Department at 507-532-8205 to request a paper copy for a charge of $64.43, includes shipping and tax. All Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Highway Engineer. Sealed Bids should be mailed to E. J. Moberg, Lyon County Auditor/Treasurer, 607 West Main Street, Marshall, MN, 56258 and should be clearly marked as a sealed bid for SAP 42-611-031 and SAP 42-599-147. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Treasurer of Lyon County, for at least 5% of the amount of the Bid. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 P.M. on June 11, 2015 by E.J. Moberg, Lyon County Auditor/Treasurer in Commissioner Room #3, Lyon County Government Center, Marshall, Minnesota on behalf of the Board of Commissioners for the following:

ONE SKID LOADER

Specifications may be examined at the office of the Public Works Director at the Fairgrounds in Marshall, MN. Proposals may be ordered by calling the Lyon County Public Works office at 507-532-8205. There is no charge for the Proposal. For viewing purposes, the Proposal will be posted on the Lyon County website, www.lyonco.org. All Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Public Works Director. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Treasurer of Lyon County, for at least 5% of the amount of the Proposal. The Bids should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, including type of equipment and time of bid opening. All bids should be addressed as follows: Lyon County Auditor/Treasurer, 607 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

County Highway Construction will begin this week with Central Specialties, Inc moving in to pave the bituminous overlays in the eastern part of the county. These bituminous overlays will take approximately 4 weeks. Motorists can expect slight delays due to pilot cars and flagging but the roads will remain open to traffic during paving. Other Lyon County Construction:
Cottonwood Main St and Minneota 4th St final paving - Late May
Township Box Culverts - Fall
Camden Bridges - Fall/Winter ’17 and Summer ‘18

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

LYON COUNTY, MINNESOTA

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The County of Lyon will receive bids in the Auditor/Treasurer Office at the Lyon County Government Center, 607 West Main Street,  Marshall, MN until  4:00 p.m. on March 28, 2014 for  the following:

                        PURCHASING  -       One (1) Diesel Track Loader

All bids shall be made on the proposal forms of the County and shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check, bid bond or certified check, payable to the order of the Lyon County Treasurer for not less than 5% of the bid.  Bids shall be directed to the Lyon County Environmental Administrator, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with a brief statement for the summary as to the work for which the bid is made.  The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding.  Specifications are on file at the office of the Environmental Administrator.   No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least 30 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
